Generally at least one painting weekend is organised during the year, at a venue with good painting potential. A good Hotel is chosen for our overnight accommodation, so the inner man (sorry, inner person) is also catered for. Members invade the locality over a weekend, alone or in groups depending on confidence level, and try to capture the ambience in two dimensions. Spouses and partners are also welcomed on these outings. Places visited include the usual idyllic locations such as the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Derbyshire, Wales, etc
